MHFA Australia in a letter dated 7 November 2025 have advised that from 2 February 2026, a new Learner Access Pass of $20 + GST will apply to all new adult participant enrolments in MHFA courses across Australia (excluding Teen MHFA or Youth Yarns, in development).

Each year, 1 in 5 Australians will experience a mental illness. Many are not knowledgeable or confident enough to offer assistance. While physical first aid is common, mental health first aid is often overlooked. MHFAT equips individuals with the skills to assist those in need, ensuring better mental health support in our community.

Please note that as of 2026 MHFA Australia have imposed a min of 6 candidates for all advertised courses
