Service Description

Flexible Workplace Mental Health First Aid training for employees, managers and organisations across Australia. This blended online course combines self-paced eLearning with live instructor-led sessions via video conferencing, making it convenient for workplaces and individuals anywhere in Australia. Available Australia-wide — complete your training online from anywhere in Australia. The Workplace Mental Health First Aid course teaches participants how to provide initial support to a co-worker who may be experiencing a mental health problem or mental health crisis, until appropriate professional help is received or the crisis resolves. This flexible blended course combines self-paced online learning with live instructor-led sessions delivered by video conference. Course Component 1 – Self-paced eLearning Complete approximately 5–7 hours of self-paced online learning at a time that suits you. Course Component 2 – Instructor-led sessions Attend two live online instructor-led sessions of approximately 2.5 hours each, including set-up time. Throughout the course, participants develop practical skills for recognising mental health problems and crises, communicating effectively and providing appropriate initial support using an evidence-based Mental Health First Aid Action Plan. The course is suitable for employees, managers, supervisors, HR professionals, workplace leaders and organisations wanting to build mental health first aid skills and confidence across their workplace.
