Standard MHFA Refresher Course Online

Service Description

The Standard Mental Health First Aid Refresher is a 4-hour course for current and accredited MHFAiders who have previously completed an eligible Mental Health First Aid course. Available Australia-wide — complete your Standard MHFA refresher online from anywhere in Australia. The course provides an opportunity to refresh and build on your Mental Health First Aid knowledge, skills and confidence, including working through mental health first aid interactions and practising skills across a range of mental health problems and crisis situations. Participants can complete a short assessment at the end of the course to extend their Mental Health First Aid accreditation for a further 3 years. Course format: Face-to-face, 1 × 4-hour session. Eligibility: Current and accredited Standard, Older Person, Tertiary and eligible industry-specific MHFAiders may be eligible. You should complete the refresher within 3 years of your previous MHFA accreditation and provide your Certificate of Accreditation to the Instructor. Learner Access Pass: $20 + GST.
